My Sunday and all it involves

First of all, I’ve spent a good chunk of the day playing with Photoshop and creating the invitations for Alex’s upcoming birthday party. I’m making a mental list of supplies and decorations and such….which I should probably turn into an actual hard-copy list as I am so terribly forgetful these days. I love so much to plan parties for the kids. I think it’s definitely in the top 3 things I love about being a mom! We are all looking very forward to his 6th birthday party!

Another highlight of my day was giving my dear, sweet baby girl a suppository. It’s such fun, in fact, that I actually sense your jealousy as you’re reading this! She has been terribly constipated and in a lot of pain. I had high hopes for big-time suppository results, but as of yet, we’re both very disappointed. Wish her luck and painless poo.

I added some more clips to the products page and oh man, are they cute! I think Elliott will have to have one of each! Scroll down to the last four to see my most recent handiwork.

I’ve developed a small mental list of things I’d like to do to make our potentially awesome back yard closer to awesome. There I go with my mental lists again. I’m not exactly a whiz at landscaping. In fact, I do believe my thumb is black rather than green. Hey, at least I can set to work on the weeds for starters. We KNOW we want those dead.

Now, because it’s a glorious day outside, I’m going to head to the kitchen to make some scrumptious hamburger patties while Shayne gets the grill going. When I season my meat, I throw in a sprinkle of garlic powder and onion powder, some worchestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Pretty basic, but between my seasoning and Shayne’s mad grill skills, we always get rave reviews. So, next time you’re passing through, give us a heads’ up and we’ll throw one on the grill for ya!
