Hi! I’m Abbie: I’m married to super cool Mr. Shayne. Our 6-year-old boy, Alex, is incredibly sweet, gentle and kind. Our daughter, Elliott, is one and is a little fireball! She’s full of love, energy and life! I have a lovely step-daughter, Mazzy. She is a sweet 9-year-old who loves to play mother hen to the younger two.
I’m a bit old-fashioned in the sense that I love to stay home with the kids, I love to bake, and I love to sew and craft things for the kids. Being a stay-at-home mom is an enormous challenge and tougher than any paying job I’ve ever had, but it is the most incredible one by far! Nothing makes me happier than spending time with my beautiful family.
When I started cloth diapering my daughter, I started becoming more and more aware of how environmentally UNfriendly our lifestyle was. Since then, I’ve started making little changes here and there in hopes of leaving behind a beautiful planet for our children. I’m learning as I go and am always looking for ways to be a little greener.
