Who is this little girl and what did she do with my baby?

One day she’s all tiny and dependent….the next, she’s wearing these big girl dresses and running and climbing and playing outside! I feel a teensy bit of sadness, but mostly, I am just basking in it! Every day she’s one step closer to being the woman she will become and I feel so priveleged to be able to have front row seats for that show. She amazes me with her balance between tomboy and girly-girl (note the tube of lipgloss in her hand). She’s vivacious and aggressive, but so gentle, tender and sweet. She’s a spitfire when she needs to be and an angel the rest of the time. That spunkiness will be a great thing, I think. Not so much as a toddler (a little rough on Mom and Dad) but as a teen and a woman, this girl will hold her own for sure. Nobody will ever hold her back. She’s tough! She’s sweet! And she’s really very precious.

    She is so pretty Abs! I cannot believe how much she’s grown. She will continue to grow into a beautiful woman. How lucky you are to have her as yours and she of you.
